Employability Support

If you have permission to work in the UK, Bridges offers lots of different ways to help you get ready to start work.

We run 4 week long courses called Equipped for the Future which cover communication skills, CV workshops, application support, mock interviews with employers, visits to employers, information interviews with employers, personal action planning and skills recognition.

We also run a series of individual workshops on many of these subjects and can provide individual support when you are offered interviews.

We also support you once you have been offered a job by arranging in work financial calculations, smoothing the transition from benefits to paid employment. We can go through staff contracts and calculate what you salary will be.

We offer additional support with English language that is linked to the workplace.

You MUST have an immigration status that allows you to work in the UK and you must be able to prove this, if you want employability support.

You can combine this with a placement, or any of our other programmes.
