From 2005-2007 Bridges was involved with two Transnational projects involving five other European states apart form Scotland.


The ASAP Partnership consisted of

Lithuania

Italy

Austria

Bridges was involved in two distinct projects developing an Empowerment Toolkit for those working with asylum seekers and developing a model for accredited qualifications for those working with asylum seekers and refugees in Europe.

In 2009 Bridges will once again be working with partners in ermany, France, Spain, England and Estonia, looking at accreditation of qualifications snd expereicne for migrant workers and refugees and how to build capacity for agencies supporting these groups.

Bridge shopes that the qualifications ist developed under the ASAP partnership (se above0 for people working with asylum seekers and refugees might become adopte din other European Countries.

The Scottish qualificatijns will be available through FE colleges from February 2009.
