Maggie started working with asylum seekers and refugees in 2002 by setting up the Bridges Project in response to the growing racial trension in the city following the introduction of a dispersal policy of aslylum seekers to Glasgow. The programme has grown continuously since then and in 2005 became the Charity the Bridges Programmes Ltd. Previous to working in this field Maggie was a bookseller and former Editor of the Weekend Scotsman.

Suki joined the team in 2005. She is responsible for managing the case work of the staff, liaising with and recruiting companies to the project and desining nddelivering varius training courses for clients.

Patrica joined the team in 2005. She is the first point of contact to arrange an interview or to receive information about the programmes we run.

Elio joined the team in 2005 and is responsible for running our programme for unaccompanied minors in the city, including the development of the new Life Skills Development Course.

Liz joined the team in 2007 and is responsible for case work and for developing the service to enhance the value of the project and to ensure that clients' time with us is a positive and practical step towards economic integration. Liz has years of experience working with other groups who were far from the workplace.
Suzanne Wright, Case Worker. suzannewright@bridgesprogrammes.org.uk Suzanne joined the team in 2008 and is responsible for case workand for developing the service to enhanc ethe value of the project, ensuring that we are always reacting to clients' needs. Suzanne has many years experience in working with groups far from the workplace.
Jonathan Sharp, Case Worker, jonathansharp@bridgesprogrammes.org.uk Jonathan Joined the team in 2008 and is respoinsible for case workj for the adult team. Jonathan's background in ESOL and his extensive experience of working with refugees overseas brings a unique perspective to Bridges.
Tiff Griffin, Youth worker, tiffgriffin@bridgesprogrammes.org.uk
Tiff joined the team in 2008 as a part-time youth worker and works on the youth project and has been responsible for co-developing the new Life Skills Development Course with Annieisland and for 2009 with the Red Cross.
Campbell Wilson, Open University secondee Campbell joined the team in 2008 and is part of the Openings@Bridges programme, providing clients with access to advice and guidance on Open University courses and support and Higher Education generally. Campbell is an experienced Open University lecturer and tuter and works one day a week in the Bridges office.
